I'm standing in the park.
Original Text
It is located in a park near Hakodate Station, but it is closer to walking from the station and getting off at Matsukaze Town by Hakodate tram. It is said that the statue was built because the original author of the moonlight mask, who was born as a masked hero in 1958 (Showa 33), was from Hakodate.
A green area in the middle of the road runs north-south from Hakodate Station east, and it is there (it is said that it is called Matsukaze Town Green Belt). I barely knew the name, probably because the generation did not match, so honestly I didn't get much impression.

It is a statue of a moonlight mask in Hakodate city. It's a little far away, but it's within walking distance from Hakodate Station. It is located in a park in a residential area. The cherry blossoms were in full bloom and it was beautiful. Later, I found out that Yasunori Kawauchi, the author of the Moonlight Mask, is from Hakodate.
It had a colorful appearance, so it was an easy-to-find statue if you knew the location. However, there was little traffic, including tourists, and no one stopped and looked at it. It seemed easy to understand if it was just near the Hakodate Central Post Office.
It is a donation from the original author (Yasunori Kawauchi) from Hakodate in 1949, but it is beautiful.

It is said that the statue was donated to Hakodate City in September 1974 by Yasunori Kawauchi (1920-2008), the original author of "Moonlight Mask", which is said to be the founder of the hero action drama. There is a statue of Yuya-sama 々 on the green belt with the statue. The moonlight mask donated in 1949 was beautiful or well maintained.
