YOU NEED TO VISIT MT. FUJI IN SAKURA SEASON!
Imagine Mount Fuji, Japan's iconic volcano, looking stunning with a snow-dusted crown, surrounded by a sea of pink and white cherry blossoms. Yep, you've just stepped into the magic of cherry blossom season, or as the locals call it in Japan, "sakura" 🌸
Every year, around mid to late of April, these delicate flowers burst into bloom, turning the landscape into a fairy tale painting. People from all over the world visit spots like the Chureito Pagoda or Lake Kawaguchi, hoping to see Mt. Fuji surrounded by hundreds of pink cherry blossom trees. 🤩🩷
The peak bloom of those cherry blossom trees in the Fujiyoshida Area usually lasts around 1 or 2 weeks. 🌸
But it's not just about the visuals; did you know that sakura season in Japan is way more than that? It's a time for reflection on life's fleeting beauty and celebrating new beginnings. 🌸
So, if you're ever in Japan during cherry blossom season, make sure to visit Mount Fuji. 🗻

The Shincang Fuji Asakusa Shrine was built in 705 AD and has the famous pagoda "Zhongling Tower" in the territory. This is a great place to watch cherry blossoms and Mount Fuji. [View] Zhongling Tower, see cherry blossoms in spring 🌸, see red leaves in autumn, and see snow in winter. [Interesting] Learn about Japanese cultural tourism. [Cost-effective] Free tour.
A must visit at Lake Kawaguchiko. Too bad we came at the wrong timing. Mt Fuji wasnt blocked but the sun was too glaring. It was 2+pm. The autumn leaves were beautiful! Saw 2 couples taking wedding photos. The stairs were really unforgiving. Though can still be accomplished if you take breaks along the way. Tip: the best timing would be mornings and late afternoons. This is of course, very dependent on the weather!
2nd time to Chureito Pagoda, and still loving it. This places looks stunning with cherry blossoms. Even without the Sakura, you can still take nice photos of Mount Fuji and the pagoda - a very postcard worthy image.
a must visit when near Mt Fuji. there are steps to climb before seeing the pagoda and also mT Fuji in the same frame. worth visiting for a short day trip.
Red pagoda, beautiful art typical Japanese style.
