This is the Xianheng Hotel, located at the entrance of Confucius Temple on the Qinhuai River in Nanjing. The decoration is similar to the Xianheng Hotel in Shaoxing, and the layout is also very unique. Although the dishes are classic dishes of old Shaoxing, they have been obviously improved and have the taste of Huaiyang cuisine.

The first three hotels are in Nanjing, which are old shops opened for decades. The earliest one was in Shanghai, and now there are three or four branches. I went to check it out, and it is really as famous as it is said to be. The dishes there are very spicy and the stinky tofu is also delicious.

Xianheng Hotel is the most famous century-old restaurant in Shaoxing, a wine country. It was founded in the Jiawu year of the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty. Mr. Lu Xun's novel "Kong Yiji" made Xianheng Hotel famous at home and abroad. The image of Kong Yiji slapping the big coins on the table is vivid. There is also a chain of Xianheng Hotel in Nanjing, with a superior location, good taste, and exquisite storefront, which feels very good.

I went to Nanjing to play, lived near the Confucius Temple, and I was tired at night. I saw the signboard of Xianheng Hotel and the statue of Kong Yiji, and I was attracted to the store. The store decoration is simple and elegant, and there is a window on the second floor to see the Qinhuai River. The location is very good. The dishes are good, I don't know if it is the authentic Shaoxing taste, but the taste is really good.
