This is a very good western restaurant that I checked in when I went to Europe. It was also recommended by the local tour guide. The taste is really authentic and very delicate. The desserts are even better. Super good! Recommended

The staff was accommodating to my family and our needs. They are all very kind and welcoming. We enjoyed every single dish and appreciated how detailed and delicious everything was. They deserve their Michelin stars. An absolute pleasure to have dined at Santa Elisabetta. Will be looking forward to the next time.

No.1 of Fine Dining  in Florence

The steak was not tasty. . When you come to a big city, there are too many restaurants to choose from. I don&rsquo;t know which one to eat. I passed by this restaurant on the way to another restaurant, and then I walked in. . The seafood pasta and steak were not very good. The steak was medium rare but very old. The pasta was very hard and not flavorful. It seemed uncooked. I regretted whether I should have ordered pizza. At the end, when I paid the bill, they asked me how it was. I told them honestly that it was not very good, but the service was still good. I wanted to give a tip, but they returned it to me and rounded off the amount.

There are many rigid requirements for the Florentine steak:
(1) The meat must come from a kind of Italian cattle called Chianina, which is also the largest and oldest cattle in the world.
(2) The steak must be made from the loin, which is the T-bone we are familiar with. The minimum weight is about 1-1.5 kg and the thickness is generally three to four fingers thick.
(3) The doneness of the steak when it is cooked. It is very simple, medium rare. Because
a steak worthy of the name of Florentine steak should be medium rare. So how well done is medium rare? The outer layer of the steak is cooked through, even a little burnt, but the beef inside is basically red and bloody.
How does it taste? It is too bloody. One cut, the bloody meat. However, the slightly cooked part on the outside is really delicious, but the inside is not so good.
The most acceptable is 50%, and 30% is also a challenge.
By the way, the potatoes are really delicious. I didn&rsquo;t finish the meat, but I ate all the potatoes.

If you come to Florence, you will definitely come here. The handmade pasta here is super delicious, it is the kind of wide pasta. Needless to say, the steak is the best in Florence. The large piece of bone-in beef is simply seasoned and air-dried, then the dry shell is peeled off and cut into 1-2 kg T-bone steaks. Had high expectations when visiting this restaurant. We took the 7 course menu. The food was excellent and the wine pairing was fabulous! We typically don&rsquo;t like champaign but the pairing with spaghetti and sea urchin was absolutely delicious. And so were the other pairings with many interesting conversations with the sommelier. Indeed many red wines but they are our favorites. Allergies were perfectly taken into account. The service went too fast to our likely but slowed down after a comment. At one occasion the knifes were not sharp enough. And the English of some waiters was difficult to understand. After dinner we were offered to take friandises with us, which is quite unique in our experience. All in all a great evening with real Italian dishes and wines 😊🇮🇹😊
