Food, wonderfully presented and excellent quality.Accompanying wines were very well matched.Staff very helpful and attentive to any qyestion asked.I would definitely go back if I am lucky enough to get to Caen again

This restaurant had great ambience and service and good food and options at a very reasonable price but the food was a bit bland. We ordered fish and steak and once we added a bit more salt, pepper and lemon (on fish) it was great.  I would recommend.

L&#39;Aromate is a gem of a spot, and our visit there was the dining highlight of  our stay in Caen. We will  of course remember the delicious fare, exquisitely conceived and presented. Our server, Paul was a delight--warm and so accommodating--and the lovely ambience afforded us the quiet calm we were seeking. Lovely wine offerings. Affordable, approachable elegance.

Shazib greeted us for our last meal before leaving France, he was a smiling ,happy person who helped us with our meal choices,  which there were plenty of  although the restaurant is on the main road the view of the castle and church showed the history of the place. The food was excellent , we were not hurried by the staff to finish quickly and go, we had a nice time  and would return.

Good restaurant. Foods were good, and waiters were plaisant. The restaurant was not full, and we had a very good evening. We&#39;ll renew this experience ...

Ok restaurant. We ordered a minute steak and a cheeseburger both with fries. The burger was delicious. The steak over cooked. The fries tasted stale.

Conveniently situated in the historic part of Caen, the service, level of food quality and ingredients will convince you this restaurant has a Michelin Star.  Right now they are a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant but perhaps soon they will receive a well-deserved star.

Great set menu. In the private dining room, we enjoyed the dinner very much with our group of eight. Gamba&rsquo;s were a fantastic starter, even though I am normally not a gamba fan. The duck for mains were another highlight. All eight of us enjoyed the dessert as well.

Food was good just a little over cooked. Service was polite but a bit overwhelmed since it was a full house
