WU MING MAO CAI

Wuming Maocai is one of the “Top Ten Fly Restaurants” in Chengdu. It is located on Xierdao Street. The location is relatively easy to find and it is very popular. The food in this restaurant is so delicious!

It was my first time eating maocai. I ordered a small portion of vegetarian dishes, slightly spicy, which felt like malatang or heated skewers. There were kelp, black fungus, winter melon slices, bean sprouts, potato slices, Chinese cabbage, lettuce, bean curd, lotus root slices, wide noodles, and chives and bean paste. It was very fresh, probably Pixian bean paste. The store is not very attractive, but there is a different world in the alley next to it. There are four relatively independent areas for dining, and no trash cans. The taste is good, but the hygiene is worrying. The service attitude is very good, and they especially told me to take good care of the elderly. I was touched and ashamed.

[Taste] Excellent! Add some vinegar to the bowl, it will be sour and spicy. [Environment] It's a small restaurant, but the environment is OK. [Service] It's all done by myself, but the maids are really nice!

This is a very good maocai restaurant, spicy and delicious, with a strong flavor, super good with rice. You can eat three bowls of maocai, or you can take it away.

They have opened countless chain stores, but the taste is still as good as ever. I have eaten here many times.
