In retrospect, Cutler & Co should be my first hat restaurant in Australia. At the age when I knew nothing about Fine Dining, I later learned that this flagship restaurant of the group has a history of more than ten years. It is hidden in the city and opened in Gertrude on Fitzroy Treasure Street. St., sit tight with two hats. The last time I came was before my birthday in 2016. The restaurant was renovated in 2017, and the place where I entered the door was made into a spacious bar. The interior of the restaurant behind was also upgraded a lot, but the menu was changed to Chef's Selection for 3 dishes and 5 dishes. This is a more relaxed and casual dining choice. Also let the restaurant become the only restaurant in Melbourne's 2 caps Modern Australian that does not do Degustation. 🔺 Choose the full menu as usual, bread is served before the meal, and soft homemade butter is delivered. The taste is excellent. The small point before the meal is honey melon with ham, which is sweet and has a little salty flavor of ham. Add a oyster from Shore Haven, New Jersey and Port Douglas, South Australia. It is very fresh. The first pre-course is oil-sealed tuna, with green mussels, and a little seaside and autumn seagulls. The taste is very fresh and rich. Next is a vegetarian dish, the seasoned asparagus Brata cheese, Golden magnolia and lemon, the taste is very light, more like a salad, in a total of five dishes accounted for a table, a little unreasonable 🔹 The third start is the main dish, roasted flowers, with spring broad beans, Swiss beet leaves, and absinthe sauce, Even if it is a well-regulated main dish in a western restaurant, 🔹 followed by Queensland M6 + and cattle, with a small piece of anchovies, next to zucchini flowers and dry golden lotus leaves, green is parsley sauce, beef tastes OK, but privately think that this price is M9 + not too much 🔻 appetizer sweet The product is papaya snow bar, topped with watermelon grains with strawberry jam, there is a summer taste 🔻 The official dessert is ice cream made by Jersey Milk and strawberry snow bar, surrounded by strawberries, honey and basil jelly, sprinkled with some protein cakes and almond-flavored cream pancakes, the taste is good, But the lack of creativity of the ingredients after five years of return visits, the restaurant environment and service are still the highlight, suitable for dating, the wine list also won my heart, but unfortunately I went to Degustation Menu, the taste can be, but the creativity is basically no different from the ordinary western restaurant, it is estimated that it is also a trade-off for restaurant operation. If you have a little more people, I recommend A La Carte, so I can eat more.
