From Melbourne to the Great Ocean Road, if you don't want to return to the original road, you can choose to return along the inland A1 highway, and the A1 highway from Warrnambool to Geelong passes through Clark. There are very few tourists in this town. On the north side of the town is the large Lake Colac. The locals are used to walking, jogging and cycling by the lake.
