After visiting Tasmania Wineglass Bay, we stopped by the small town of Bicheno, which was healing and quiet. Discover that there are not only beautiful beaches, penguin groups, but even the food is a surprise! Here are a few must-try beautiful restaurants and small town attractions, so check out what Bicheno can eat and play! Le Cog Restaurant Address: 2a Foster Street, Bicheno TAS 7215 Opening hours: Wednesday to Sunday 5:30pm - 9:00pm Mains: venison, sea fish Price: Main courses $30-$45 around, about $60 per person Environment: French vibe, leisurely light, cottage nestled on a quiet street in a small town Impressions: Tender venison, fragrant meat, excellent with seasonal sauce; sea fish selected locally caught grouper, full of freshness, grilling treatment is very delicate. A small French restaurant, feeling full of sincerity. Reservations are recommended, travelers will come here in the off-season. Bicheno East Coast Holiday Park Address: 4 Champ Street, Bicheno TAS 7215 Opening hours: Open year-round Featured: Cheap accommodation, fully equipped Price: Around $30-$120 per night (depending on room type) Environment: Close to town center, with camping and cabin, a variety of room types to choose from Impressions: Clean environment, with a shared kitchen for easy cooking. Close to several natural attractions, great for driving or staying with friends! Blowhole & Penguin Tour Address: Near Bicheno Town Center, Blowhole Rd Features: Natural rock cave fountain, wild penguin night tour Price: Blowhole free, penguin tour $40-$50 per person Impressions: Go to blowhole at dusk to see the sea water gushing, especially shocking; then participate in the local penguin tour, the trip courteously guided by a guide, you can see penguins returning to their nests up close, super cute! Overall evaluation Bicheno is small, with sea views, wildlife and authentic cuisine, amazing French vegetables venison and sea fish, diverse accommodation options and a healing journey. Looking for a slow-moving seaside town on the east coast of Australia, I highly recommend a try! Tips: It is recommended to drive in and out of the most convenient way, book accommodation early in the summer, penguin tour to book in advance.
