Majo_It is an impressive tourist attraction. The main statue of Garuda is really amazing. There will be a long wait for ticket. Lots of walking and lots of water is needed which is readily available for purchase. There is a shuttle for those who have trouble walking. I would definitely recommend you to use the shuttle. A map containing routes to visit different spots will be provided. Worth once a visit. One of the tallest statue in the world. While in Bali you will see this beautiful statue from a lots of places. This place was not in our itinerary and after seeing this statue from outside we visited this sight. We were astonished to see the size of this sculpture . This is very beautiful and the place is also very enjoyable. There are a lots of activities at GWK and your full day will be less to enjoy there. Very good place for family with children
ramdankurniawan2111Ubud Monkey Forest is the most unique tourist package in Bali, as it says, in the sacred forest and its temple, there are hundreds of apes. Every day, apes saved and guarded by locals descend to the ground and interact with visitors who come.

It was built in 3.8 hectar and it has more than 20 waterslides, makes waterbom bali is one of the biggest waterpark in south east asia. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The place is well maintained, clean and safety conscious. some of the good water ride that you should try such as funtastic, smash down, phyton, pipeline, and for sure lazy river. The price is reasonable since you can be in the waterbom bali for whole day. The food is also good and there is an icecream.Over all, waterbom bali is a good place to play with water with family and friends. Enjoy!
samreshThe beach has white sand which I like. It was especially nice when we were there, during this pandemic there was almost no one there so that I could enjoy the view, the sound of the waves and the smell of the sea. It was beautiful.
Staycation at AYANA Resort and Spa Bali
Just returned from 4 nights at the Ayana resort spending new year there. We stayed in basic. room with resort view. The good points...
- It is a big resort, with many options, so even staying with the hotel full at the New Year period you can still find some very quiet spots.. - Kubu beach was great, we went there the firs two days, the guys looking after the beach offer
great service. Both times we went down to the
beach, by the time we had finished our swim
they had moved our stuff to sun beds that had
become available, there aren't many beds down
there, so always has a very quiet feel. Sea great
- Third day we went to the river pool near the villa lobby / Dava restaurant... loved it! Very quiet and
peaceful - Forth day.... it rained a lot! so we tried out the Aquatonic pool before our flight home. Loved. it, 12 different 'jetting' stations, with the guys in
charge talking you round the entire experience. It was fun, as well as feeling great. - Rock Bar for drinks excellent - if expensive, but given the setting I could live with it! Also with the receipt you get 15% off the resort restaurants. Great service if you are staying at the hotel - preferential seating etc... And by the time you get down the inclinator, the girls waiting for you, know your name!
- Danar Terrace also a good alternative for pre-dinner drink if it rains, great cushioned seating on the floating island, over the pond. - All food we had of a very high standard, Honzen japanese restaurant particularly good (they split one of the set tapanyaki menus between the two of us.... still plenty of food.)
- For a 4 night stay we didn't leave the resort.... and didn't feel like we needed to (plus see enough traffic in Jakarta!)
- Loved sitting on the room balcony on the daybed, great idea for balcony furniture, and great view of the resort gardens and landscaping, which was quite amazing.
Fireworks and a band for the new year celebrations!
We were three friends who booked the private half day tour of Ubud and the rice fields! Best cycling tour! It's beyond expectation and strongly recommended. The guide was so experienced, full of Balinese culture knowledge, and funny as well! You can ask as many questions as you want and he'll explain to you in a way that it is easy to digest and understand. The owner was super kind. During the cycling tour we had a coffee break and snack in the mid of palm trees - the snack was so good (it's a traditional cake) and the atmosphere was so relaxing. We cycled to the culture house, mid of paddy field, temple, and many more exciting place. Afterwards, we had a lunch in restaurant "Green Kubu" the food was very tasty and the restaurant is surrounds by paddy field. It was super relaxing. You've got not only the fun of the cycling tour but the knowledge of the culture from local guide tour. We are really recommend you to choose Green Bike Adventure!
Want to get a feel of the “old” Canggu? You know the time before life here got reduced to being permanently stuck in the infamous shortcut? Well, happy to report there are still nooks and crannies that maintain the Canggu charm from the pre-instagram crazed era. Pali restaurant is definitely one of them. Tucked away on Jl. Padang Linjong and overlooking a stretch of rice paddy, it is housed in a charming, old style Javanese joglo and dishes up the most authentic Indonesian offerings from all over the archipelago. They make Gado-Gado the traditional way – by grounding the peanut paste in a large stone mortar and mixing it up with all the fresh ingredients. Another big draw is the Nasi Campur your way, you can pick your rice, meat or veggies and your desired spice level. Hot tip: visit the resto for a super romantic dinner around full moon when it shines so bright, it literally lights up the surrounding rice paddy. You will forget all about the shortcut when munching on the flavor packed Indonesian staples and discovering new flavors – we recommend you try the Sumatran specialty: cooked cassava leaves in coconut milk broth served in a halved young coco shell. One of Javanese culture's tenets is humbleness . It shows when you enter the joglo, you'll notice it is built very low, so guests have to bow. It is an expression of respect to the homeowners. The team behind Pali incorporated this philosophy into the settings and culture of Pali. Their menu was intentionally designed for sharing from small to large plates. It is to highlight the togetherness of the Indonesian culture. Pali is a new hot spot for when you want to break away from all the crowds and enjoy an authentic dining experience, from the settings to the food, that is always served with the quintessential Indonesian hospitality.
Montana del Café is one of the cafes around Penelokan Highway. Precisely at Number 889, South Batur, Kintamani. The manager of Montana del Café named Dwi Krisna said that one of the sensations that visitors will get when they come to this cafe is the sensation of coffee above the clouds. Usually, the cloud moment takes place in the dry season. Precisely in June-July. The moment lasts for a limited time, which is around 07.00 – 08.30 WITA only. Not only that, visitors can also get an amazing sunrise moment from this cafe. Visitors only need to make a reservation and take a special package in advance on request to be able to enjoy the sunrise at this cafe. Usually the moment to enjoy the sunrise is also used by people who deliberately hold a photo session at Montana del Café.
Sprout with a tantalizing contemporary menu boasting artisanal goodness with rustic arabesque influences, their intrinsic connection with nature is never forgotten and providing the daily nutrition we require is their labour of love.
Their coffee, just as the concept of Sprout, quality is considered at every stage and our espresso is no different. They proudly use Empirical Coffee which is sourced from local Indonesian & South American growers and roasted in Bali. The Empirical blend is beautifully balanced, rich with substance and complexity and an unforgettably satisfying flavour.
Produce grown in The Garden’s own organic veggie patch is used to educate young minds on the natural way of farming and growing food and in turn small scale harvests are used in Sprout’s kitchen offering the freshest possible ingredients to our dishes which we think is immensely important. All of their daily organic waste is taken to their on-site educational composting area and converted into nutrient rich compost and all of their plastic, glass, metal and paper materials are sorted, collected and recycled. We work closely with the team from Eco-Bali, who have strived to maximize recycling, reduce quantity of waste to landfill and promote composting in Bali.
