Took these photos several years ago now when you could still get a relatively close and unobstructed view of the #whitehouse. The North Portico in the first photo is where you could get the closest to the building without actually entering the grounds. You can also see the National Mall and Memorial Parks nearby (there are 14 parks and monuments in total), including the iconic Washington Monument.
The White House is also a must-see stop for Washington trips, as the president's office and residence, nearby security is also very strict, and the range of visits to the White House palace is relatively far away. White neoclassical style sandstone buildings can be seen from a distance, and the architectural style is very distinctive. Parking is not very good nearby, it is recommended to take public transportation.

If anyone’s is planning on taking a tour of the White House, just know it’s a MUST! I had an amazing time and learned a lot of cool stuff! Also parking kinda sucks so if I was you I would Uber or Lyft!
