The road to the castle is uphill, and the road is wide and easy to walk, but I think some people feel that the slope is steep. After sightseeing in the castle, visit the plum garden. It was just when the plum blossoms were in full bloom, and there were historical remains such as the foundation of the ruins of Tateyama Castle. It was like a park where there were many users not only tourists but also local families.

Arrived at the park in about 15 minutes by bus from the west exit of JR Tateyama Station. Cherry blossoms were planted around Tateyama Castle on the mountain, and I was able to visit it just when it was in full bloom. Shindoi on a steep slope to the castle.
