Semi Ghost town
It was very sad. The train we rode 20 years ago is no more and the busy Main Street across from the train stationeith its shops is virtually abandoned except for a few places. Sign of the times.
We had a great trip with beautiful views and the lavender colors were amazing! Well actually we only went on 30 June 2012 but TripAdvisor threw up the option to review it so here I am.

Drove all the way out there only to find out it was closed for replanting. Apparently, according to the locals, this is the second year they were closed.
