Nice place to bring a lunch
We first went to Subway in town and bought some subs. Then we drove to this park and found some quiet picnic tables overlooking the lake, near the parking lot. Such a peaceful lunch! Love all the gees...
Great trails for biking
I enjoyed an hour or two of mountain biking on the many trails that weave through the area. All the routes were well-marked and had good variety: nice climbs, fun descents, and flowy, forested outes. ...
Nice little park
Not far off the I-5 freeway. Nice picnic and short hiking area. Definitely worth a visit if in the Yreka area.
Unexpected Treat
Just a mile out of town, this park is a gem for locals and a real treat for those of us passing thru town.
