Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures, the taste is very in line with my taste, so the recommendation index is 5🌟

This western restaurant is located on Marcus Clark Street in Canberra and is also a cafe. The restaurant is decorated in a simple and bright style and the dining environment is very good. The western food here is well done, tastes good, the price is reasonable, and the service is good.

They dropped the ball, We have regularly eaten at Parlour and it has always been a fav: great food, service, wine and atmosphere. Tonight was terrible. The service was virtually non existent. We had to get up and approach staff to ask for menus ( after 20 minutes). No one had asked us for drinks( can I point out it was a quiet night).  Items on the already smallish menu were not available which is always disappointing… no alternatives offered. We then had to stop a waiter, who seemed content to continually walk past our table, to take our order.  The food took so long we’d finished our wine bottle!  No one asked if we wanted more drinks .. .a lost  opportunity. A wrong dish was delivered but by then we were so hungry we kept it. The food was tasty but not amazing. We asked for servers to serve the food… none came.  No one came back to offer more drinks. We’d decided to cut our losses and leave.  Honestly, it was like we were invisible!! I just can’t work out where all the staff were and what they were doing…, like I said, it was a quiet night. We won’t go back until they’ve sorted out their staffing and service. A very, very disappointing experience.

Had a girls night out at Parlour. The wine was good but that&apos;s all the positives I have. The table we sat at was sticky. Food was terrible. We had the &apos;feed me&apos; menu and half of the food tasted like medicine. There was another event on and staff were inattentive. It took 3 hours for our meals to be served from the moment we sat down to dessert being served. Will not be back.

What a great spot!  Wonderful ambience, perfect food and the friendliest, most attentive of servers.   The menu was perfect for our little group - we like to share plates so we had one plate of almost everything on the menu!!  The crispy eggplant was to die for as was the black onyx rump.  The cheeseboard was most generous with a sublime selection of the finest cheeses - the honeycomb was out of this world - and I don&apos;t like honey!  The only down side is the toilet is downstairs and outside - very cold for a Canberra Winter!!

Perfect night out with my best friends

Parlour was the venue for 26 people on Friday night. Ben and Cameron looked after everything that was requested,great service. Croquettes,Calamari,Chicken sliders,sweet potato tarts and beautiful prawns all tasted lovely. Would recommend Parlour for any occasion.

Lovely setting for a party

I haven&apos;t been to Parlour for many years, and don&apos;t think I&apos;ll be back in a hurry. The menu looks interesting but the reality is very different to the enticing descriptions. Food is surprisingly bland and under-seasoned. Some of the dishes are a bit amateurish - e.g. ceviche which constitutes big chunks of surprisingly tough snapper rather than the thin slices of tender fish with interesting side dressings that other restaurants serve. Spatchcock was pink and bloody in the middle...bit of a no-no with poultry. If the chef is going to put their name on the menu, they might want to makes sure the dishes justify that touch. Also, service was a bit bizarre. Very ad hoc, with staff preferring to stand around and chat to each other rather than service the small number of customers who are paying their wages...
