"The altitude here is very high and very cold, but the scenery along the way is beautiful You need to get up early to visit here. It takes a few hours to get there, and the altitude is very high and very cold, so you need to wear more clothes. The geysers themselves are not as spectacular as some geysers in other parts of the world, even though they are the highest. There are many beautiful scenery to enjoy on the way from San Pedro."

"If you have visited Tatio, you might go to Machuca on the way down. This village with only 20 houses and churches now mainly relies on visiting tourists. It's worth a stop and wandering around. It costs 300 pesos to go to the toilet and 1000 photos of people who are asleep. They need our money to survive. The guy is grilling llama meat-didn't try! There is a cafe, I think it is a small hotel now, it is worth stopping, but it does not take long."

"Historical Site"

"This trip will take at least three hours. The park has an uphill road with views of the city, Valle de Marte and Atacameñas buildings. At the end of the extension, there is a space to pay tribute to the beheaded attacker. It is not a place normally provided by a travel agency. I went to the hotel manager's instructions. It is worth a visit. Business hours are from 10 am to 5 pm. I don't know if it will be closed for maintenance. The admission fee for adults is 3,000 pesos, and students can show a discount card, even if the card comes from a school in Brazil."

"The Church of San Pedro de Atacama is a monastery with a history of more than 500 years. The color of the entire church building is earthy yellow, which is very old. The interior decoration of the church is very simple, and the triangular roof of the wooden plank is very simple and unpretentious. Maybe this is what the church really looks like, it's worth coming to listen to the chanting quietly."

"Near the streets of San Pedro you will find some domes-like tents. Inside, you will be surprised to find many meteorite collections, as well as interesting geological information about meteorites. You will be taken into the long river of history to see how meteorites are formed, their significance to the formation of life, and where they are in the Atacama Desert. There is also a guide on site to answer your questions, but most of the information is still available through voice commentary."

"Driving in a dead river bed is as fun as seeing a rainbow Once you get there, the scenery is simply spectacular. We have seen red rocks before, but we have never seen green and blue rocks. Don't forget to stop and explore the rock paintings along the way. Our car is four-wheel drive, so it's no problem at all. If it weren't for a good car, we wouldn't be so confident."

"Most of the lakes in the Andes Plateau are lakes formed by the melting water of snow-capped mountains. They are blue and clear. The lakes on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in our country are similar to each other. Because it is located on a plateau, the air is very fresh. When the lake is calm, it will reflect the beauty of the sky and the surrounding snow-capped mountains, which is really very beautiful."

"During the "Piedra Rojas, Lagunas Altiplanicas y Salar" day trip, we passed this town and had lunch there. There is an interesting old church and tower, village square and local shops. The town is 38 kilometers from San Pedro de Atacama, at an altitude of 2,485 meters. The church tower was built in 1750. The locals here are involved in mining, fruit planting and handicraft work. If you are interested in archeology, or you are just crossing, it is worth a visit."

"One of the most beautiful and driest places on earth The Atacama Desert is the driest and highest altitude place in the world, where there are particularly beautiful scenery, rock formations, salt flats, lagoons, flamingos, volcanoes, sand dunes, intermittent The spring, the hot and cold weather in the same day, the unique color... It was really shocking, the amazing natural scenery exceeded our expectations."
