The Basilica of the Eucharist is located at 1039 Rue San Martin in the Retiro district of Buenos Aires. The Basilica of the Eucharist took eight years to build and was consecrated in 1916. Its appearance is eclectic, imitating the cathedral of Angoulême, France. It has five towers, three in the front façade and two in the apse. The interior has three aisles, in Gothic Revival style, constructed of Venetian mosaics, stained glass, Verona red marble and Carrara white marble.
