We had dinner on a busy Sunday and though the staff were friendly enough I couldn&#39;t help but feel sorry for them. Clearly stretched, our waitress could be seen running around doing several things at once in an attempt to give efficient service, just for us to then have to wait an hour for our food to arrive. Our waitress was very apologetic and whilst we were understanding, I did catch a not so forgiving table taking out their frustrations on her- bit unfair as it was out of her control. The food was average and overpriced. Maybe just a good spot for a drink and live music? I would also consider making that a closed kitchen- we were not impressed with our 5 year old daughter being exposed to the profanity coming from what I can honestly say is the most unprofessional team of &#39;chefs&#39; I have ever seen. If you can&#39;t handle the heat, get out of the kitchen!!

Nice restaurant This is a very strange and beautiful restaurant. We stumbled upon it. Everyone loved it. Mellow wine and perfect dishes. I ordered a delicious mussel cream fish soup!! Dessert was also very tempting and I chose cheesecake. Very friendly and welcoming staff, highly recommend it to everyone!

Quality is near perfect but lacks local features. But Felton Road wines with restaurant food, it is still a wonderful night, a delicious dinner. Healthy, happy and happy growing up

A very authentic Turkish restaurant, the decoration inside is baked, the Turkish cake feels similar to pizza, but the shape is oval, the barbecue inside is very authentic, and there is a Turkish dance performance at night.

This is a Middle Eastern restaurant. It is more distinctive, at least there are not many Middle Eastern dishes in China. The dishes here are more authentic. The beef and lamb are very good, a bit of Xinjiang.

There are some small bullet beer here, in fact, it is still possible, it is a mixture of foreign wine and beer, a mixed alcoholic drink, after drinking, come for a walk, the hair dryer is very good

We&#39;re Brisbane locals and used to love coming in to the surf club for lunch. Unfortunately the last two meals we&#39;ve had there have been somewhat disappointing. Yesterday the fish portions were measly and i was still hungry after finishing my meal. The time before they&#39;d run out of key items on the seafood platter and hadn&#39;t told the wait staff, which created quite a bit of confusion when we tried to explain to the staff that we were missing items from our order and may have ordered differently had we known. On both occasions we had overseas visitors with us, which makes it more disappointing as you want to show them the best of Brisbane. That said it&#39;s still a great spot and the staff are very welcoming. If you&#39;re after a bar to sit in and chew a few prawns with beer while people watching, then it&#39;s got my vote. But if you&#39;re looking for somewhere to take visitors out for a quality meal, then you might want to consider other options.

The Southbank Surf Cub restaurant and bar is in a prime spot beside the Brisbane downtown beach pool in the Southbank park and as such is in a landmark position and should reflect the superb standard of this development. I went there two days during the busy Christmas period and felt let down both times. The decor, presentation and general attractiveness of the bar is beyond question which is a very good reason for consistency. Service from the bar was great - friendly efficient and professional and made it easy to decide to order food. Big mistake. The cafe is rubbish. Day one: we were a group of eight wanting lunch. Two prime tables were vacant along with some smaller tables. We were told all tables were booked. We chose to wait until one was available and were assured we would be called. We drank for half an hour and perused the menu which was expensive but acceptable for the quality offered. Finally with table staff conspicuously absent we left - the two tables we were refused were still empty three quarters of an hour after our request. Day Two: after a swim with my adult daughter I decided to take her to the Surf Club having been impressed with the decor and service the day before for a drink a appetisers. We ordered wine, bruschetta and spicy hot fried chicken wings. The bruschetta arrived looking and tasting like commercial salsa but worse served on white bread burned black on both side and tasting like the charcoal it was. Not one but eight pieces. The chicken wings were deep fried and dry and were absolutely drowned in hot Peri-peri sauce to a point where it was impossible to taste the chicken. This was not a question of personal taste just a totally dumb way of serving food. There was twice the amount of sauce any normal person would have expected and the chicken had not been prepared or marinated at all. Hot yes but tasting like chicken wings?
