Pao Longlaomiao

Binyang Paolong Old Temple is located in Zhonghe Street, Binzhou Town, Binyang County, with a history of more than 400 years. The original name of the temple was Sanhuang Temple, which was rebuilt in the 13th year of Guangxu. There are statues of the Yellow Emperor, Shennong and Fuxi. Due to various reasons, the quaint old temple has changed from more than 2,000 square meters to a brick building with only 200 square meters left. Every year on the eleventh night of the first month of the lunar calendar, the city of Pennsylvania dances the cannon dragon. Because of its long history, the Sanhuang Temple has a sacred position in the hearts of the people. Therefore, for hundreds of years, the cannons on the seven or eight streets of the old city south of the city of Pennsylvania have been Longjun gathered the temple for "consecration", and the number increased from seven or eight to more than 20. Therefore, thousands of people come to watch the "consecration" every year, and various media also come here to capture the grand occasion of the "consecration" of the gun dragon. Due to the narrow old temple, it is difficult to accommodate the huge consecration team and many reporters and tourists. In order to promote the Paolong culture, develop tourism, and solve the potential safety hazards of the old Paolong Temple due to its narrowness and crowding, in 2007, the Binyang County Folk Paolong Art Association took the lead in mobilizing donations from the public to start the reconstruction of the old temple. The temple was officially started on November 17, 2007, and was completed and used for "consecration" on October 30, 2008. The Sanhuang Temple is called the old Paolong Temple by the people because of the many cannon dragons gathered to consecrate it.
