I have been to Ningshou Palace many times, this time I seriously observed the base of the sky lamp under the emperor's hall. The carved base of Han white jade is carved in a circle of lions. It is flexible and vivid. It is so beautiful!
The Imperial Palace is the main palace in the Ningshou Palace area of the Forbidden City. When the Kangxi period was first built, it was named Ningshou Palace. The Qianlong 41 years imitated the rules of the Qing Palace and was renamed the Imperial Palace.
The Forbidden City Wai East Road belongs to the Ningshou Palace area. It is a pension palace built by Qianlong after abdication. Its architecture is exquisite and luxurious. It is known as the miniature Forbidden City. The Imperial Palace is built to imitate the dry Qing Palace. It is the palace where the emperor accepts the congratulations and holds the ceremony. Now it has restored the original display during the Qianlong Jiaqing period. And can enter the hall to visit. After the death of the Queen Cixi, she stopped and held various sacrifice rituals, showing her prominent position in the late Qing court.
The Imperial Palace is the main palace of Ningshou Palace.
