Sky High at MahanakhonKing Power Mahanakhon is a building in the central business district of Bangkok. It’s a skyscraper with 78 floors. It’s classified as a mixed-use building and is located at Silom Area. One of the unique activities in Bangkok is visiting the skywalk of this building. My friends and I went on a Saturday afternoon to be able to see the sunset at the skywalk. When we arrived, we were told that the skywalk is closed as it just rained. We still continued in chances of them opening it later on as it was already sunny by the time we were at the counter buying tickets. With a stroke of luck, the counter informed us that the skywalk is open and we can already purchase tickets for it. The first step onto the glass tray was super scary but the fear slowly subsided once you’ve overcome the first step. I was able to lie on it, sit, and chill at the glass haha. There were lots of people so it’s impossible to get an empty shot. After being satisfied with our photos, we went to the seating area and ordered drinks while waiting for the sunset. It was very hot but still enjoyable. The ticket includes printed photos so for me I think the whole experience was worth it. 🇹🇭 Mahanakhon skywalkA must visit for all Bangkok enthusiasts. This is a new place, and you can go all the way up to level 78 to do the skywalk. You can use the BTS and alight at Chong Nonsi station. Then use Exit 3 which is connected to the building to arrive here. You can buy the entry ticket in person or online and there are a few variations to choose from. For me, I buy the photo package which come in a nice photo album and digital photos too. You will take these photos once you enter against a green screen. Then upon exiting, you can collect it at the photo booth. There is no time limit on how long you can stay high up in the sky. Skywalk in BangkokOne of the entertaining thing to do in Bangkok is trying their skywalk. This is one of the highest building in Bangkok. We went upstair through the super speed elevator first, then escalator for the next floor, and we use stairs going to the rooftop. If you scared of heights, this is a must activity to conquer your fear. All staff made sure that we all follow safety protocals. You can also take picture in the store itself so you will have a souvenir for your trip. Water, food, drone, tripod, and other illegal drugs are prohibited upstairs. The place is around 4 minutes walk away. Highlights: The King Power Mahanakhon is one of the most iconic tower in the city of Bangkok. The building design is very unique. The elevator is awesome with max speed of 480 m/min. It hardly takes a min to reach top floor. You won't feel the speed because of the led wall graphics. BEST VIEW OF THE TROPICAL SUNSET OF BANGKOKFeeling like you are about to touch the sky, the Mahanakhon SkyWalk building is the best place to go for a complete view of Bangkok and the best sunset. The last two highest floors are dedicated to the city view. The first one you access is indoors and you can see Bangkok though the huge windows. The other one is outdoors, where you find the bar. The rooftop bar is nice, elegant, they have any drink and snack you want to have while watching a dreamy panorama. Lounge music background enhances the atmosphere. The view is simply breathtaking. Exploring Makanakhon Sky is a must for any traveler, with tickets priced at around Baht 1000. It's a worthwhile experience offering stunning views from high floors, perfect for capturing memorable photos.

I visited sometime in June 2023. The view of the city was mesmerising. The on-site team was organised and it was all very smooth. Book a ticket in advance as it gets packed.
