Wonderful placeEven if the prices are indeed a bit high, we found this place wonderful. The food was excellent and the staff very nice. They offered us to changed table in front of the paddy-field for our dessert as we were at the back. Indeed, if you want a good seat you better have to book in advance. Do not hesitate, I recommend this place.
Super SardineMade reservations with Rimy and on arrival she gave us (in out opinion) the best table in the house. Front row middle looking out towards the rice paddy. We had pre-dinner cocktails on the lounges beside the rice fields and took lots of photos of the surroundings. Our dinner was both well presented and flavoursome. We both had fish dishes King Fish and Snapper. We decided to move back to the lounges and took part in a sharing desert which too was delightful.the staff were friendly but not quite as attentive as one would expect from this class of restaurant.Good value for money we thought
Lovely setting, let down by serviceThe setting was lovely - we went as a group for lunch so we could fully appreciate the view. Even though it was a hot day, we were still comfortable in the open air pavilion. I had the hamachi and it was delicious - quite small portions but I had filled up on the delicious bread prior. Other friends had the seafood salad and were disappointed in the lack of seafood. Finished off with an amazing ginger creme brulee - best brulee I have ever eaten! Did not like the translucent glass in the toilets, who thought that was a good idea? I agree with another reviewer that staff didnt seem to want to know you once you had finished. I asked a waitress to call us taxis and she said ask the hostess, the hostess said ask security at the front and security said hail it yourself! It did put a dampener on the overall experience.
