#万千佛塔赤足行•2019福建游#No.32-Bagan·Gubuji Temple In fact, we went to two Gubuji Temples, this is the first day we passed by Gubuji Temple. Compared with the famous Sulamani and Damayangji stupas, the scale of Gubuji Temple appears to be much smaller. The appearance of the stupa looks more age-like, with prominent Indian style, and the traces of restoration are more obvious. And the decoration also appears rough. However, the windows that can be seen from the outside are quite beautiful. There are well-preserved murals in the Gubuji Temple, but the light in the temple is not very good, and the view is not very real, but you can clearly see many murals on the walls and ceiling. Although the Gubuki Temple is not large-scale, there are still many believers and tourists coming. The coolness inside the temple is in sharp contrast with the heat outside the temple; the little girl under the shade of the tree is painting without a second thought; a gust of wind blows, not only refreshing, but also the endless crisp wind bell, which makes people refreshing ...... During the few days in Bagan, I kept thinking about Little Angkor, similar buildings and ruins will inevitably cause aesthetic fatigue. However, after returning home, I regretted the sloppyness, fear of difficulties, and recklessness that day. I didn't even leave too many photos. So now, I can only rely on the limited image data...

A famous local temple with a long history and distinctive architecture.
#万千佛塔赤足行•2019 Myanmar游#No.49-Bagan·Gubuji Temple This is the second Buddhist temple we saw in Bagan called Gubuji Temple. In this place where there is a pagoda where the hands are raised, it is quite surprising that two of the thousands of pagodas have the same name. Compared with the ancient Hindu style temple with exquisite murals that I saw the previous day, this Gubuki Temple looks lonely and deserted. It is still the structure of red bricks, the design of the hollow stone window, the decoration and sculpture full of details, but it is not so popular here. At the door, there are still small vendors that are standard equipment in Bagan temples, and even the goods displayed look old and damaged.
Built in 1113, it is located on the road from Old Bagan to New Bagan. The exquisite decoration of the exterior wall of the building is well preserved. There is a well-preserved ancient monument in the hut next to the golden stupa, describing the construction process of the ancient temple. It is also an Indian-style temple. There are precise stone murals in the temple. Under the explanation of this accent, there is a feeling of traveling through time and space.
The Gubuji Temple is also famous for its mural paintings and has an ordinary appearance. It is forbidden for tourists to take photos of the murals of Gubuji Temple. Maybe this is to increase the mystery of the temple. Many of the murals are also weathered.
