The food was really good and you get a lot for your money. Its in a quiet side street and really pretty there which adds to the atmosphere. If you can sit outside the pigeons are funny to watch while you wait for your food! Can recommend this one. Keep in mind they are really small so you should reserve a place in advance.

Maïnama

This is one of our favorite restaurants in the local area. There are several kinds of fish and pork, lamb and beef to choose from. I have been here for two times, each dish is very good, the service is very good, and there is a moderate price of red wine, great!

After having many fancier meals in Avignon earlier in our stay it was good to go to a more bistro style place with a simpler presentation and more comfort type food.  Food quality was very good and the formula meals were a real bargain.  The service was attentive without being overbearing and the interior had a rustic feel to it.  Overall I&rsquo;d call this a very good everyday type of place (for our pocketbook at least) where 2 people can get out the door for about $60-65 and feel they easily have gotten what they paid for.  Numerically I would say this was a 9.2-9.3 rating place.

We found this restaurant on the Fork and decided to try in. It. Ok food and service but not extraordinary. We had to keep the fork and knife from the starters. Usually you get them changed.

Service and food exceeded our expectations. Poultry and veal ballotine with spelt ridotto was really excellent. The recommended wine was perfect for the meal. Would recommend without hesitation!

A very cozy place in a beautiful corner of the city. Atmosphere was extremely friendly and we got full attention since we were only customers. Service was very pleasant and fast. Food was very tasty to watch and to eat. A plus for &quot;frites maison&quot; and sauces (excellent)! I don&#39;t give 10 just because meat could have been slightly better. We have been even honored with a goodbye Limoncello! Place warmly recommended.
