It is very pleasant to have such a small place in the central business district of Auckland. Walking all the way to Sai Luo Park is very comfortable, along the way you can see sailing boats and speedboats docked by the water. Before arriving in the park, there are many restaurants and aquatic product markets to choose from, which is worth visiting! In summer, Sai Luo Park has a completely different appearance because of hand-made markets, food stalls, and outdoor movies. There is also an area dedicated to children.
There are places to play with basketball and kids in the park and there are plenty of green food to sit in the harbor for a picnic. There are also many restaurants leading to the park, which often hosts activities including free movies displayed on summer nights! Have been to this park several times, it is very good to walk here. In this noisy city, there is a rare place close to nature, it is very quiet here. This year participated in the park's Laneway Festival. What a nice place!
The community in central Auckland, close to the sea and the port, is a bit like Darling Harbour in Sydney, but its scale is not comparable. It is also a lively community integrating sightseeing, dining, entertainment and leisure.
