Ponsonby is a well-known street town in Auckland. It’s a good place to go with friends. It’s worth going for lunch or dinner. You can take the city’s circular bus from the city to Ponsonby. I’ve heard about it on the Internet before. I didn't expect that this group tour would include this. It was a big surprise.
To the west of Auckland’s city centre, it’s not remote. It takes 30 minutes to walk from Princes Wharf to the commercial streets of Ponsonby. There are community bookstores and churches. The sky tower seems to be right in front of you, suitable for those who seek to escape the hustle and bustle.
Ponsonby is worthy of being one of Auckland's most fashionable districts, and there are many famous designer shopping stores and gorgeous restaurants. We have selected our favorite art from many boutiques, famous brand furniture stores, and also found local handicrafts in handmade stores, which are great. I also ate Spanish tapas, Italian food, Japanese sushi, and went to the cake shop to buy cakes. Also watched some live performances for free.
