Lanyang Museum

Yilan County is located in the northeast of Taiwan, surrounded by mountains on three sides and the sea on one side. When I travel to Yilan County, I feel that the scenery here is quite beautiful and the air is fresh with few people. There is a strange museum by the sea called Lanyang Museum. The museum is very coordinated with the local landform, and it is like a "one-sided mountain". The museum mainly introduces tourists to the development of local history, culture and so on in the form of text, pictures, real objects.

Lanyang Museum is located next to Yilan Wushigang Ruins Park, facing Guishan Island. It is a local comprehensive museum introducing Yilan, which has become a window of Yilan's culture. It is a surprise to be in the museum as if you are in nature.

Lanyang Museum is a novel design in Yilantou Town Modern Art Museum. The overall design of the building is quite special. The appearance is different from the general building. It is quite satisfactory but the slope to the triangle shape creates a unique style of the museum. I personally feel very beautiful. Worth a visit.

Lanyang Museum stands on the waterfront and grows like a stone. Such architecture and architectural culture can only be appreciated and appreciated here. The harmony between architecture and environment is also a symbol of local culture. The Lanyang Museum is designed on the basis of the unilateral hills with common geomorphological features along the Beiguan coast of Toucheng Town. The designer is Yao Renxi, an architect. The building won the 7th "Far East Architecture Award" Taiwan Distinguished Award, "2010 Taiwan Architecture Award" first prize and other awards. Yao Renxi won the "2012 International Architecture Award" for the main building of Lanyang Museum.

Lanyang Museum is located in Yilan, Taiwan. The appearance of the building is very distinctive and the sea and mountains are connected. The atmosphere is very beautiful. In addition to the single-sided mountain-style main building, the construction team in order to integrate the different field colors of the four seasons of Lanyang Plain. In particular, the theme of the Violin Concerto "Four Seasons" was selected, and the exterior wall of the Lanyang Museum was converted into notes from four movements in the concerto, including spring, summer, autumn and winter, and arranged on the physical exterior wall of the main building.
