Yakushima-todai Lighthouse

This is a white lighthouse at the tip of Cape Nagata on the west side of Yakushima, which has been protecting maritime safety since its establishment in 1897. In front of the lighthouse is Kouerrabu Island, the Mishima Islands and the mainland of Kyushu are also vaguely visible on the right, and the Tokara Islands are on the left. The lighthouse has always been unmanned and cannot be visited, but standing here, you can actually feel the natural and spectacular coastline.
