It was built to commemorate Mi Fu, the master of calligraphy and painting of the Northern Song Dynasty. There are 45 pieces of Mi Fu's hand-made calligraphy that were engraved by his descendants during the eighth year of Qing Emperor Yongzheng's reign, and 145 inscriptions. As an ancient architectural site of the Qing Dynasty, Migong Temple was approved by the State Council to be included in the sixth batch of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units.

Show More ReviewsCalligraphy enthusiasts should definitely check this out; the environment is tranquil and cool. I brought some bread to feed the fish, and many koi swarmed around, which was quite interesting, and the kids really enjoyed it.
