Kulangsu(Gulangyu)

I bought a combined ticket for my trip to Gulangyu Island, which was quite reasonable. It included five attractions: the Pipe Organ Art Center, the Bagua Building, Shuzhuang Garden, Haoyue Garden, and Sunlight Rock, all of which are worth visiting.

Climbing to the top of Sunlight Rock, which is about 92 meters high, offers a panoramic view of Gulangyu Island, with particularly beautiful scenery. Staff are on hand to direct traffic at the top, ensuring safety and order. Sunlight Temple, the Hongyi Master (Li Shutong) Memorial Park, and cliff carvings are among the cultural attractions worth visiting. Of course, the natural scenery is also stunning.

Gulangyu Island, though small, boasts a diverse array of international architecture, accompanied by the sounds of music and waves. Winding alleys lead to secluded spots, flowers adorn walls, and cats lie on steps. Sunlight illuminates the island from its vantage point, revealing buildings blending seamlessly with the sea; in Shuzhuang Garden, the tide and music echo each other.
