Was not the best views
We would have liked to get best views from the castle, of the castle. We did not. We only saw it from the perimeter. Was not the best views.
Path
We only saw it out from the path. Would have been nice to be able to visit. We were not able to. Not good.
Don't bother
Don't go out of your way to visit this castle you can only see it from a nearby path. A bungalow was built near it which stopped all access (how was this allowed). Apparently English Heritage have put...
RUIN
Rufus Castle (also known as the bow & arrow Castle) is a ruin an can only be viewed from the path. It’s worth a visit just for the views across the sea.
