What a view
Ok, you hve to pick the perfect suny day to enjoy the view. This is a fantastic view, the elevator is just too quick, but still worth a visit

Fun to try once
15 CHF to use. You can go up or down when open. Only need to experience it once. Hiking is much better for the views.
NOTE: review refers to hiking up to the lift - Worth the trek!
NOTE: our review refers to hiking up to the lift from the Bürgenstock Resort. Unless the elevator is working, getting up to Hammetschwand can be a bit of a trek upwards. Being really out of shape, ...

We stumbled upon thus because we were staying at the Bürgenstock hotel. Highly recommended and you can walk back down no problem.
