Granville is considered the colored slate capital of the country. The museum shows many exhibits related to slate and its uses. Worth a visit if you are in the area. A fascinating subject.

sometimes the best things are unexpected. The idea of a quarry museum would have made me roll my eyes, but buddy suggested and was a lot of fun!!...$5 was worth it and looks like kids free FYI!
