    Important mining memorial

Pretty view from overlook. Lots of informative information to read to understand the tragedy. Really sad knowing that many of them survived yet ran out of oxygen waiting to be rescued.

    Beautiful monument

Worth the wiggy wag trip to the top!

Outstanding memorial to the 1917 mining disaster . Great Plaques and even a oral history from a survivor. Outstanding view Butte and present day mining pit.
