St. Ivan Pusti Monastery

Vlaza is an ancient city built by the ancient Thraces. At that time, the city was known by the Romans as "Valve", meaning "the gate of the castle". The name is because the main gate of the city fortress is located on a narrow road. This road is now a symbol of Vlaza.
