San Giorgio is an Orthodox church, in fact the only Orthodox church in Venice. The church is beautiful inside and we were welcomed by a priest who invited us to come for Sunday service. Next door to the church is an icon museum with exhibits that were painted hundreds of years ago.
This small church is not particularly famous and has a Greek style. It is nice at night next to the Grand Canal, but the whole church and its atmosphere are relatively fresh and lively, without the solemn feeling of religion.
The decoration of the church is very gorgeous. It is not very convenient to find this church. When you come to the top of St. Mark's bell tower, the wind is not small.
