Jaisamand Lake

Lake Taber is a large reservoir in the Aravali Mountains in southeastern Rajasthan, India, and is the largest artificial lake in India. It was formed in the late 17th century by a marble dam on the Gomarty River, with a canal that diverts water to the villages to the west. There are dense forests at the northern end of the lake and fishing villages along the shore.
