San Martin's Bridge

Located on the west side of the ancient city of Toledo, the San Martin Bridge is a medieval bridge across the Tagus River. Construction began in the 13th century and was completed in the late 14th century. Two Gothic-style defense towers stand at the bridgehead. I didn't remember his description of this stone bridge built in the 13th century. I only remember the fate of two princesses. A Spanish princess walked out of the San Martin Bridge tremblingly. Entering from the defense tower at the head of the bridge, it was five or six meters deep and more than three meters wide. I spent most of the day walking around the ancient city. When I left the winding alleys and saw this bridge, I felt that the view was particularly broad. Walking here is the end of the ancient city. The entire St. Martin Bridge is built along the river valley, and its widest point is 40 meters! You have to know that this ancient bridge was built in the 13th century and was of a very astonishing scale in that era! Walking along the city wall to the San Martin Bridge, the scenery is beautiful. Looking at the water below, it feels quiet, as if time has slowed down. The train stops at the highest observation deck for a few minutes, and everyone gets off to see the panoramic view of Toledo city.

It's about 2 kilometers from the castle. The introduction says it's ancient and magnificent, but I really can't see it. It feels like a combination of old and new, a bit out of place. Many self-driving cars are parked there. The roads in the ancient town are narrow and rugged, and it's not easy to park.

At the other end of the train station, through the entire ancient town, you will arrive. The bridge does not look old, it is a combination of old and new. There is a flying project over there, and many people are playing. There is a monastery next to the bridge, and the scenery is nice.
