Tokyo has one too — and it’s just as magical! 💫 Except for everything being in Japanese, it’s almost identical to London’s version — plus Tokyo has an exclusive moving staircase scene! 🪄 Tickets were around ¥7,000 (≈349 RMB), booked online. They’re time-slotted, but I went in an hour earlier than my slot with no problem. Highly recommend buying in advance, as same-day tickets might sell out! The tour starts with a restaurant straight out of the movies, followed by a short intro film. Make sure to scan the QR code they mention — that’s how you get access to all your interactive photos and videos later on! ✨ Highlights that totally blew me away: 📍 The Great Hall — the Goblet of Fire actually spits out Harry’s name! 📍 The moving staircase scene — record your own clip and appear in the portraits! 📍 Potion Class — the details are unreal 🧪 📍 Magic Lesson — real NPC interaction with spell practice! 📍 Quidditch Cup AI video — silly to film, hilarious to watch later 😂 📍 Dumbledore’s office with a moving phoenix 🦜 📍 Forbidden Forest — live spell casting + a giant spider encounter 📍 The Dursleys’ house (Harry’s tiny cupboard under the stairs is real!) 📍 Hogwarts Express — each carriage shows a different movie scene 🚂 📍 The Ministry of Magic — the most mind-blowing set, fully recreated. I screamed! There’s a mid-tour café (get the butterbeer 🍺) and a final shop before you exit Hogwarts Castle. Everything is so well thought out and organized, making for an incredible experience. I highly recommend watching the movies before you go, as it makes the tour even more immersive. It took us about four hours to explore everything, not counting the long queues for interactive activities like making your own video of riding a broom. One downside was the cafeteria—while the atmosphere was great, the food was disappointing except for the soda. I'd suggest having a bigger meal outside before your visit. The merchandise selection is fantastic! Arrive early to explore the shop first so you can grab a robe and wand to make your photos even more magical. I must say, every yen was worth it 🪄 This studio is a “dreamland” for those who grew up with the magical world like me—a 29-year-old adult who once dreamed of being a witch with all her heart 🧙♀️ From the very first step inside, it felt like being magically transported into Hogwarts itself 🏰 Every detail is perfect, from the Great Hall, Hogsmeade, Ollivanders wand shop, to the actual costumes and props from the movies 🎬 It was amazing throughout the tour, and there are new zones different from the studio in England, like a wizard-themed café 🧁☕ and super cute photo spots with full Japanese flair 🇯🇵 For hardcore fans, I highly recommend not missing this ❗ Set aside at least half a day because it’s really big and detailed 🗓️ As for souvenirs… my wallet is shaking 💸 but my heart is full ❤️ In summary: a perfect childhood dream come true 🌟 For anyone who already loves the magical world, I say you have to go at least once in your life!Roxy.rts15

The space is huge. Right at the entrance, there’s a big shop next door. Just walking inside took me almost an hour. There are so many things to buy and choose from, so if you plan to shop, please reserve more than an hour for selecting merchandise. Inside the studio, there are many interactive areas. You’ll have to queue a bit, but it usually only takes a few minutes. However, some popular spots with only one line might require a longer wait. Highly recommended: everyone should join the Quidditch interactive game—it’s definitely worth the wait 👍🏻👍🏻. Also, halfway through, you’ll go outside to an outdoor area with restaurants. Don’t think it’s over and you can relax and stroll slowly because there’s still a way to go inside. There’s a train station for photos and also the Ministry of Magic. If you want to take it easy, enjoy all the interactive games, and take photos at all the spots, it’s best to reserve over 5 hours. In the evening, we booked a visit to Shibuya Sky 360-degree open-air observation deck for photos. The night wind was so strong that wearing a down jacket wasn’t an exaggeration! There were so many young people in Shibuya, we couldn’t even get the yakiniku we wanted to eat【cry】 Day 2 - Kanagawa Prefecture Kamakura City The round-trip travel time was long, and there were tons of people taking photos📷, so we gave up on the "Slam Dunk" iconic spots and just enjoyed watching the sunset by the sea, which was much more relaxing😌. At night, we went to Akihabara for a stroll, but it was too late to explore much～ Day 3 - Tokyo Warner Bros. Back to Where It All Began: 4 Privet DriveBefore Hogwarts letters and spells, before flying brooms and secret chambers, there was 4 Privet Drive — the ordinary Muggle home where an extraordinary story began. Seeing the full-scale exterior of the Dursleys’ house in person was surreal. The perfectly trimmed hedges, the beige bricks, and that familiar number “4” on the door instantly transported us back to Harry’s earliest days — living in the cupboard under the stairs, dodging Dudley’s tantrums, and dreaming of a world beyond Little Whinging. One of the best parts? We got to step inside. The hallway was just as tight and over-polished as you’d imagine, and yes — the cupboard under the stairs is really there. Small, dark, and barely big enough to crouch in, it was both touching and heartbreaking to see where Harry spent his early childhood. The main idea of the studio is to show how the film trilogies were created. My favorite parts were the Forbidden Forest set, Hagrid's hut, and Diagon Alley. You can even sign up to download photo and video memories :) recommended if you have an extra day in Tokyo. It is a good half day so book early and get a good entry time.
