🌸 Hope this guide helps you create unforgettable memories in Japan! 🌸
In Odaiba, it's very close to the It's a Small World by taxi. There was a special exhibition on the first floor, but I didn't go in due to time constraints. I only bought tickets for the regular exhibition and exchanged them for paper tickets at the service desk. There was a lot of content, and the children had a great time.
It consists of four parts: "Earth Environment and Frontier Science", "Technological Innovation and the Future", "Information Technology and Society" and "Life Science and Humanity". Each exhibition hall has science communicators and volunteers to give on-site explanations and conduct various interactive experiments with the audience, allowing visitors to experience cutting-edge technology in person while thinking about the meaning of technology and looking forward to the future of technology.
There are many interactive projects in the Science and Future Museum, and it takes more time to visit than expected. We had limited time and said we should just take a quick look, but the kids couldn't move at all. They wanted to see everything. The theme is completely different from that in China. The interactive games in the Colorful City allow children to experience the scene of living with partner robots in the future. The theme of aging-friendly allows children to experience the world after they get old. The large-scale equipment with disaster themes on the second floor allows people to intuitively feel the impact of various disasters on humans. The interaction of protecting the earth for 50 years is also very interesting. The theme in Small World is also very rich, with rocket launches and airplane takeoffs and landings, all of which are very large-scale, and other scenes are also exquisite. The only thing is that the restaurant closes too early, and you can't order food after 5:30. The Yurikamome is very convenient, connecting the Odaiba area in series, and it feels like traveling in a small city, isolated from the outside world. It just seems that there is no need to buy this combined ticket. The price of buying it separately is about the same, unless you will take it many times. But the one-day ticket is pretty good, so just keep it as a souvenir.
The National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation is an eye-opening facility that brings together Japan's wisdom and technology. The building has 8 floors above ground and 2 floors underground, with a total area of 8,881 square meters. Here you can learn about the natural sciences of the earth, display the new technological civilization of mankind, and many environmental protection related exhibitions. Theme of the exhibition hall The exhibition hall is based on the four themes of "Earth Environment and New Frontiers", "Technological Innovation and the Future", "Information Science and Technology and Society" and "Life Science and Humanity". It introduces cutting-edge science and technology to visitors, such as observing DNA with a microscope, observing the virtual journey of the earth from the space shuttle, and other experiential displays, allowing visitors to fully appreciate the magic of life and the ingenuity of new technologies. The "Geo-Cosmos" exhibit is the iconic exhibit of the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation. It was designed and produced based on the wish of Mr. Mamoru Mori, a Japanese astronaut, scientist, and current director of the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation, to "share the beautiful Earth seen from the universe with more people." "Geo-Cosmos" is a spherical display with a diameter of 6.5 meters and about 1 million LEDs on its surface. It is hung on the 6th floor and can simulate the shapes of the earth, the moon, and various planets based on satellite data. In addition to exhibits, the Future Museum also has two high-tech theaters (one is the GAIA dome theater where you can enjoy all-round images and celestial phenomena, and the other is the VR theater where you can simulate and experience imaginary space), as well as experimental studios, international conference halls, restaurants, shops, etc.
After the picnic, the four losers went to the Future Science Museum in Odaiba. I had been to the Hong Kong Science Museum and the Guangdong Science Museum before and had a good impression. I thought I could see Japan's advanced technology or robot smart home after entering. Who knew that Japan's Future Science Museum was so boring... Fortunately, the tickets were not expensive, otherwise it would be a big loss!!!
Especially worth taking children, feeling the charm of natural science, many links that you can experience personally, space capsules, body balance, how clouds form, future urban life patterns, touch screen experience the changes brought to the earth by human activities over the years, and so on. And the dancing robot asimo. Another bright spot is the huge and vivid blue earth, lying on the first floor of the reclining chair looking up at her, listening to the explanation, full of gratitude, want to use their own actions and appeal to everyone on the earth to take care of her heart.
Located in the famous tourist attraction "Taichang" area of Tokyo, this time we are going to visit Geo-Cosmos, which is a landmark exhibit of the Science Future Museum. The robotic world in the exhibition area on the 3rd floor can see the intelligent robot ASIMO developed by Honda, which can not only walk but also run. It is a good place for popular science education.
