A trip to Japan is more than just cherry blossoms and hot springs; there’s so much more waiting for you to explore. Every journey is a conversation with yourself.
The so-called Sumida Park is actually a few blocks along the Sumida River, with hundreds of cherry trees planted. When the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, the flowers are as colorful as brocade and pink as clouds, forming a beautiful cherry blossom tunnel. Every year from late March to early April, there are activities such as the "Sumida Sakura Festival", "Sumida Park Sakura Festival", and "Sakura Bridge Flower Festival". People have been enjoying cherry blossoms here since the time of Tokugawa Yoshimune.
The park is actually not far from Asakusa, and it can be said to be very close. There is a long river in the park, and the water is clear and transparent. There is a tram passing by not long above, and you can also see the Tokyo Skytree, which is a good place to take photos and check in.
After visiting Sensoji Temple, just walk towards the Tokyo Skytree and you will pass by Sumida Park. This is a very relaxing park with two rows of cherry blossom trees. From here you can see the Tokyo Skytree across the river, which is a great place to take photos.
Sumida Park, located on the banks of the Sumida River in Asakusa, is famous for the "Sumida River Sakura" in the Edo period. It was once known as "a long river bank with flowers as long as ten miles". There are more than 700 cherry trees on both sides of the Sumida River, which are more than 1 kilometer long. The best view of the cherry blossoms on both sides is from the Sakuraya Bridge. Sakuraya Bridge is a pedestrian bridge built with donations from residents on both sides of the Sumida River. Visitors can also take a roof-shaped cruise ship to enjoy the cherry blossoms, which is also interesting. At the end of July every year, Tokyo's largest fireworks festival is held here.
Yutian Park on the Bank of Yutianchuan River, with nearly 1,000 cherry trees stretching along both sides of the river, has been a famous cherry resort since the Edo era. There is a special feature of Cherry Blossom appreciation in Yutian Park. You can see the clear sky tower in Tokyo not far from you on the whole flower appreciation walkway, so you can take more characteristic cherry blossom photos. In addition to walking, you can also take a cruise boat to enjoy cherry blossoms, which has a special interest: a rooftop boat (a rooftop ferry) that provides a gourmet meal package, swims to Tokyo Bay from Yutianchuan via Taiyuan and Rainbow Bridge, but the fee is more expensive. There are also more affordable water buses, which ride on the Yutianchuan Line from Shallow Grass Wharf.
It's a free park. There are many beautiful cherry blossoms in the park. It's very beautiful. Especially in March and April, it's really a sea of flowers. And it's very beautiful. The petals fall on the ground.
Yutian Park is a riverside park, with water and scenery, plus pink cherry blossoms, you can walk the park path, you can also enjoy cherry boats, romantic to do not want, food friends are recommended, there are many snacks, cheap and delicious.
