Shinagawa Historical Museum

The Shinagawa History Museum introduces the history of the Shinagawa area from the small inn on the Tokaido in the Edo period to the present day. You can see the diorama of the ancient Japanese Shinagawa inn. The museum also introduces the main industries of Shinagawa, such as vegetables and nori, and displays related tools for producing nori. In the garden of the History Museum, there is a tea room, which is restored according to the appearance of the tea room in the 1920s, and sometimes there are tea ceremony performances in the tea room.
