Women's の Palace
Original Text
In the middle of the Edo period, Hikawa Shrine in Kamitakada, Toshima Ward was the palace of the male body. It seems that this was worshiped as a couple pair of gods as a palace of the female body. There are several parking spaces in the precincts.
It is not clear that it was founded by the 5th Emperor Kosho (2,400 years ago) and even older. It may be said that its origin was when the rice cultivation culture spread in the Kanto region. According to "Edo Scenic Spot Zue", "Edo Kimon" and "Edo Sango", it has a very large precinct, and it is said that the sand in the form of a god erupted from the spring that springs from one corner. There are three gods enshrined.
The exact establishment of this shrine is not clear, but it was the guardian of the former Shimoshimoai Village in the Edo period, and according to literature, the Edo period had a much wider precinct than it is now. There are about 280 Hikawa Shrines in the vicinity of Tokyo and Saitama Prefecture, and the root of this is Hikawa faith, which is one of the Shinto faiths for the deity Susano Onomikoto. The faith in Hikawa-sama is old and its origin is not clear, but it is said that it was about 2400 years ago when rice cultivation culture spread in the Kanto region. Hikawa ...
I stopped by when I was running on Shinmejiro-dori. There is a big sign on the street side so you can easily see it. Contrary to the hustle and bustle of the street, it is strange that when you step into the precincts, you will be surrounded by silence as if time had stopped.
Shimochiai 2-7-12, Shinjuku Ward. You can walk from Takadababa. Hikawa Shrine in Shimochiai. There is a remnant of Fujizuka. It is used as a cornerstone of the fire monument and guardian dogs, but it is definitely lava rock. Passing through torii ⛩ facing Shinmejiro-dori, you can already smell the sacred area. There is no guide to show the remnants of Fujizuka, and there is no evidence of that. But I think it would have been Fujizuka. A long time ago, children might have played.
