Excavation された Lianwa Street の Relic Structure です

    Original Text

We will disseminate information about "Ginza Brick Street Monument" in Ginza, Chuo-ku. I visited "Ginza Brick Street Monument" on January 31, 2023. To access the "Ginza Brick Street Monument", go straight at Exit 1 of the Toei Subway Asakusa Line and Tokyo Metro Ginza Line "Shimbashi Station" and turn left at the first corner. Go straight ahead, dive on the Metropolitan Expressway, cross the pedestrian crossing and turn left. If you go straight for about 50 m, there is the first corner, so turn right and go about 20 m, and you will find the "Ginza Brick Street Monument" on your left. ...

    Lianwa Street の

    Original Text

This is about 5 walk from Shinbashi Station, and it is on the left hand side of the Kinshun Street. It is said that a long time ago, a monument was built here with an emphasis on the rare and magnificent brick town (disappeared due to the Great Kanto Earthquake) that stretches about 10km in Ginza.

    Original Text

「 Fire and quarrel are Edo flowers. "Edo was so often ridiculed, but in the Meiji era, we built a brick town aiming at creating a town that is difficult to burn. Some of them were excavated and preserved from Kinshun-dori. It is done. It is neatly and coolly built, and it is truly a monument to Ginza.

Do you know "Konparu-dori Brick Remains Monument"? Konparu-dori, located on the west side of Ginza-dori in Ginza 8-chome, had a Nohgaku mansion in the Edo period. There are 々 buildings that were born in the Meiji and Taisho eras. In the Meiji era, the Meiji government, who was afraid of the great fire in Edo, built a retro and modern brick town, but it was destroyed by fire in the Great Kanto Earthquake and a monument of the remains erected on Kinshun-dori remains.

    Leave history.

    Original Text

The area around Ginza was severely damaged by the fire in 1897, and it seems that it became a brick town with the aim of creating a fire-resistant town during the reconstruction. The brick town was also destroyed without winning the Great Kanto Earthquake later, and it is said that this monument was built by bricks excavated later. It's a very important historic site for leaving history.
