in tendo walk
ＪＲ I stopped by for a walk from Tendo Station using a rental cycle. It is a temple located a little up the slope. There was no explanation of the temple, so you may not have to stop by for sightseeing 〇
Morning reading
Younji Temple is a Zen temple of the Soto sect located about 15 minutes walk from ＪＲ Tendo Station. I visited when I took a walk around the shrines and temples near Tendo Station in November. It is located in a small high place near Tendo Park. Since I worshiped early in the morning, I heard morning work (reading sutras) from inside the main hall. Around the temple, there were autumn leaves and persimmon fruits, and it was a scenery where you could feel autumn. If you are interested in shrines and temples, why not take a walk?
