Under a large tree, the pillar of "Prefectural designated historic site Uppmaka"
Original Text
Located in a corner of the island village, a pillar of "Prefectural Designated Historic Site Upmaka" stood under a large tree. An explanation board installed by the village should stand on the historic site of the island, but here it was finished without knowing the details just by the pillar. Grace, in the back, it was maintained and preserved as "Myaka of Toyomi Tsuchihara".
You can see the shape of a very old tomb peculiar to Tarama before the Kameko Tomb enters from the main island of Okinawa. It's within walking distance from the village, so please visit.
It is located on the outskirts of the village where the number of houses has decreased. There is an interesting shape entrance with stones. It is said to be the tomb of a samurai in Tarama. It's like I don't feel like that. It may not be good for those who aim for nature in Tarama.
I was running on a narrow road in the village around the village office. There was a square like a small children's park, and next to it was something that made me feel the history of masonry. The stone monument says "Upmaka", but the information board says "Miaka". It is said to be the tomb of Toyomi Tsuchihara, who is said to have contributed to the development of Tarama, but it was quietly nestled in the village.
