based on 290 reviewsA public park located along the Hillsborough River, it was opened to the public in 2010. It is right next to the Tampa RiverWalk. Along the way, you can check in at the Museum of Photography, the Art Museum, the Children's Museum and the Rivergate Tower. The entire park has a large green space with fountains, playgrounds, dog parks and amphitheaters. I especially like the sculpture garden here. When I came here, there was an event going on and it was very popular. The park was named after the former mayor of Tampa, Curtis Hixon.
