Peacock vine
Original Text
4 I went before Golden Week in the latter half of the month. It was just at the time of the wisteria festival, so many people came to see it, and the spots in the photo were very busy on the wisteria shelf. The precincts are fascinated by the splendid wisteria and the scent.
It is a shrine in Takamatsu City and is a famous tourist spot with beautiful wisteria flowers. The wisteria festival was held in late April and there were many people.
It is a shrine famous for peacock wisteria in Iida-cho, Takamatsu City. The wisteria festival was held at the time of the visit and there were several food stalls. The wisteria stretched its branches from one trunk to the surrounding area, supporting the branches on a wooden shelf. The flowers were purple and some were hanging so that they could reach the ground. However, probably because of the high temperature this year, the flowers were in full bloom and fell considerably to the ground. It seems that the beautiful scenery spread when it was in full bloom. Please note that the parking lot is small.
When I was a child, I used to play around this shrine. The wisteria at that time had more momentum and the wisteria flower bunch was growing so that it seemed to reach the ground. Although the momentum at that time is gone now, I think it is one of the most famous wisteria flower spots in the prefecture. It seems that you can park your car on the approach to the shrine. You can refresh yourself by walking from there and worshiping and admiring the beautiful wisteria flowers.
