very nice place and nice weather for November go,my kid very happy can try the cable car and saw the panda, will come again ☺️
Enjoy the view from above and the whole Taipei from a transparent crystal carriage. Look up to see the mountain scenery and look down to see the scenery passing by. You can also enjoy the night view of Taipei from a distance at night, including Taipei 101.
There are four stations in total on the Maokong Gondola, namely the Zoo Station, the Zoo Station, the Zhinan Palace Station and the Maokong Station. The whole journey takes about 17 minutes. The Maokong Cable Car connects the Maokong mountain area. From the vantage point in the car, you can see the entire Maokong scenic area.
You usually have to queue to take the cable car, and the queue is divided into two lines: ordinary cars and crystal cars. The floor of the crystal car is made of fully transparent tempered glass. When you look up in the car, you can see the mountains in the distance, and when you look down, you can enjoy the scenery passing by. The Maokong Tea Garden is like a miniature landscape, with neat rows of tea trees arranged in a regular pattern, like terraced fields, which is spectacular.
Take the bus to the Zoo Station, which will pass above the zoo and allow you to hear the sounds of animals. This station is located inside the Taipei Zoo.

I went to Maokong Gondola at the end of June 2023. The view there was amazing, as I can see the view from outside, as it is near Taipei Zoo.
what a scenic place. The parks are very picturesque. worth to visit.
### 🌄 Maokong Gondola: Zoo Station Water Dance Area 🌊✨Experience stunning views on the Maokong Gondola, and visit the Zoo Station Water Dance Area for a refreshing, family-friendly attraction with beautiful water displays. 🏞️🚡
Fun experience taking the cable car up, especially the glass bottomed cabins. Friendly and helpful staff at the visitor information centre. Nice trails for a stroll with local food stalls and cafes.
fun activity to go with a partner or kids. easier if you go up on non glass gondola cars as it is faster. you can also buy tickets online to skip the queue or pay with your Taiwan transport card (youyou card)
Visited Maokong and admire the view of Taipei, especially when you can see Taipei 101 when you are standing on the top of the mountain!
Just had an unforgettable ride on the Maokong Gondola, enjoying stunning views of Taipei city and its beautiful temples from above. Decided to take one of the trails and met a friendly frequent hiker who guided me through a slippery section with ropes, ending at the breathtaking Yinhedong Waterfall. Its name means "Silver River Cave" or "Milky Way Cave." #銀河洞越嶺步道 #MaokongGondola #TaipeiViews 🚡✨⁰
