    The National and University Library was built in the style of neo-renaissance in 1889 - 1895. It is located on the Republic Square. Since 2004 it has been classified as a historical monument.

    Strasbourg BNU is considered the second largest book fund in France, inferior to the Parisian BNF. Being on the Republic Square you will not be able to notice this beautiful building.
